Your Role: What you'll be doing
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a modern software development environment. Automation is a key part of our strategy to deliver better software products in a quicker and more secure manner.
  • Work with a highly collaborative team in an Agile environment embracing a “fail-fast” mentality (fail fast, fail often, react quickly and learn from every failure).
  • Responsible for implementing and supporting a modern software development environment. Automation is a key part of our strategy to deliver better software products in a quicker and more secure manner
  • Engage with Technology Architects, Security team members, and other engineering teams on cross-functional activities to design, develop, and test cutting-edge solutions.
  • As a partner to development teams, influence and promote security and integration from design to delivery.

Your Background: What skills you'll need
  • Experience with 2+ years of Linux system administration, OS commands and utilities
  • Extensive experience with one or more of the following scripting languages: Perl, Python, Ruby, AWK, Shell and  Bash
  • Familiarity with software configuration management systems:
  • Version control systems: git, SVN, Perforce
  • Build management
  • Dependency management: package ecosystems such as NPM, Maven, and/or Python Anaconda
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and understanding the role of a DevOps organization in such environments
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Packer or Ansible
  • Knowledge of system security concerns and vulnerabilities. (ISO, CNSSI, NIST)
