The Town of Castle Rock, Colorado, has an excellent career opportunity for a collaborative leader to serve as Human Resources Manager. Under general direction of the Town Managers Office, this position is responsible for making independent decisions related to planning, leading, and managing all aspects of the Human Resources division. This position formulates and executes HR-related policy and programs consistent with Town values. You will manage the Human Resources budget and ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the stated values of the organization.
Skill / Requirements
Qualifications generally include a Bachelors Degree in human resources or related field; supplemented by five (5) years progressively responsible experience in the area of human resources including two (2) years supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination. A Masters Degree in Human Resources Management or Public Administration is preferred. Experience in public sector HR is preferred. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
