    JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of clerical duties and tasks to coordinate the purchasing, delivery, and flow of raw materials to support production and meet customer needs.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Processes orders on a daily basis, entering orders on the AS400 system, printing purchase orders, and maintaining vendor files to ensure raw materials requirements are met and inventory levels are maintained. (35%)
    1. Expedites orders, following up on inbound shipments, reviewing invoices (discrepancies, correct product, pricing, and quality), reviewing daily reports, correcting price variances, and canceling orders when required, to ensure inventory levels are maintained and customer needs are met. (35%)
    1. Schedules and coordinates receiving appointments on all inbound shipments to ensure delivery of raw materials in a timely manner. (10%)
    1. Generates, monitors, and reconciles daily and weekly labor and yield reports to ensure supervisors and managers are well informed. (10%)
    1. Communicates and coordinates with vendors to resolve raw materials, packaging, or freight issues. (10%)
    1. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:

    Education/Certification:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Experience:

    2 to 4 years of relevant work experience
