We are seeking an ElectricalMaintenance Technician with electrical maintenance, integration, andinstallation experience to work in our Aurora, CO office. 



Whatyou will get to do:

  • Perform installation,maintenance, and repairs to electrical and RF equipment

  • Use a variety of hand,power, and test tool equipment to develop custom hardware materials.

  • Work with motivates andskilled team performing various equipment installation

  • Maintain and updatesequipment logs.

  • Support Operations and Maintenance by providing proactiveand reactive maintenance on various antenna platforms and associated equipment.

  • Responsibilities include analyzing equipment problems,isolating causes and taking proper action to resolve problems

  • Perform preventive maintenance and integrate approvedequipment modifications into the existing customer baseline

     

In this role, the selected candidatemust have the ability to work within a group or independently wherecollaboration and attend to detail is critical to mission success. The selectedmust be able to work closely with contractors and government customers. Theability to work in varying weather conditions, and with hand tools and general constructionpractices is also needed.

 

This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.



Qualifications

This requisition may be filled as either a level 3 or a level 4.

 

BasicQualifications for a Level 3:

  • High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and willing to submit to a Counter Intelligence polygraph
  • U.S. Citizenship required with valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain a Passport.
  • Electrical installation and maintenance repair related experience.
  • Must be able to understand electrical prints and drawings.
  • Must be able to inspect, identify and troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Must be familiar with basic multimeters, megger and handheld testers.
  • Work-related experience in technical/electronics field completing system maintenance and electronic equipment troubleshooting
  • Ability to climb ladders and use personnel lifts for heights to approximately 50 feet (using approved fall protection equipment), ascend and descend 60 feet of stairs
  • Ability to install and uninstall (lift) devices weighing 50 pounds
  • Must be able to travel ~25% of the time.
  • Must be capable of performing electrical integration with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five years of industrial or heavy commercial electrical experience.
  • Colorado State Journeyman Electrician License
  • Experience working with medium voltage 3-phase equipment
  • General experience in electrical, refrigeration, HVAC and instrumentation.
  • Experience working with high speed A/D and D/A converters
  • Rack and Stack of general purpose servers, modems, and Cable Management experience
  • Deployment and Shipping experience
  • Proven history of building and deploying SATCOM Terminals
  • Work related experience on RF and Microwave systems including:
  • Design, build and testing of RF switching units
  • Solid state power amplifiers
  • Experience installing and testing RF over fiber technology
  • RF verification in the frequency domain and time domain
  • Experience working with Crypto Units
  • Work related experience with electronic test equipment to include: spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, oscilloscope, bit error rate (BER) tester, power meter, signal generator, pulse generator, multi-meter or Digital Volt Meter (DVM), fiber optic testers
