Job Summary: Natus’ Neurosurgery District Sales Manager is a key sales role reporting to the Regional Sales Director, within the Natus Neuro product group. The role is responsible for sales growth of new and existing business and profits (P&L) within an assigned territory as well as improving market share. You will have the responsibility for proactively seeking out opportunities to build new business relationships, primarily in the area of Neurosurgery and some Neuro Critical Care, selling surgical products, monitoring products, and supplies. Candidates must be highly effective communicators, capable of building partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and physician customers.
In this job you will:
Attain or exceed quarterly and annual revenue for the territory.
Generate new sales leads through effective prospecting within the assigned territory
Enthusiasm to drive the business in a competitive market, combined with detailed and accurate pipeline activity managed through Siebel CRM.
Work closely with Clinical Sales Specialist within the neurosurgical/neuro critical care sales team.
Maintain, analyze and utilize territory records and other information to efficiently organize, plan, execute and measure results.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, key hospital stakeholders, and strategic partners. Manage leads through an effective and responsive lead management process and assists in lead generation activities.
Organize exhibitions and demonstrations for customers within the territory.Make scheduled personalized sales demonstrations to the MD and Clinical market within assigned territory.
Educate and follow up with Heads of Surgery, Medical Doctors, Surgeons and other professional medical staff members on the operation, utilization and application of our product to insure overall customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
Provide timely, accurate, and constructive written and oral communications to management regarding expected sales and monthly activity.
Manage a specific budget to control sales, expenses, inventory and accounts receivable.
Interface with the product management and technical support on product issues, pricing and product development.
Attend local and national tradeshows, and sales meetings, as required by the management team.
Monitor and track competitor activities.
Other duties may be assigned.
Travel Required: Extensive, up to 75%.

Education and/or Experience :
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Neurosurgical and/or Neurology sales experience in the Medical Device/Equipment/Hospital space. Comfortable observing medical procedures in the operating room.
Strong organizational and communication skills; emphasizing interactions with the medical community. Ability to present and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within Natus.
Demonstration of excellent technical skills gained in a life or material science environment or similar scientific sales role. Capability to develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge.
Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience and operating knowledge of Siebel CRM a plus.
Safely operate a motor vehicle. Maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage.
Ability to respond to common inquiries and resolve any customer conflicts amicably.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
