This role is within the Mission Engineering and Operations (MEO) organization supporting the Bus or Payloads team. The position is to support spacecraft operations, through operation software products and CONOP development. The candidate will develop new software products, design, code, test and install products as well as maintain existing products. In support of mission operations, each member of the team is expected to become a subject matter expert in an area of mission support, and to support the rest of the team through reviews, testing and backup support of their products. The candidate will be responsible for developing and updating operational CONOPs for their area of experience to include being the primary interface between operations and certified principle engineers.

Basic Qualifications
- Software and systems engineering/integration utilizing Linux and Windows operating environments
- Ability to work as part of a technical team to meet deadlines for multiple products
-Ability to get TS/SCI clearance

Desired skills
- Previous Bus or Payload satellite subsystem experience
- Previous knowledge of satellite Command and Control software
- Demonstrates strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, time-management, and self-motivation skills
- Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to constantly changing requirements and situations
- Demonstrate experience in assessing risk, properly prioritizing, obtaining status, and accomplishing multiple tasks with only general direction
- Programming experience in MATLAB or JAVA
- ActiveTS/SCI Clearance
