The selected candidate will be expected to be a first-line manager and a working member of the team by supporting subcontract execution and proposal activity directly as the business needs require. This position will manage/support more than one geographic area and will require someone who has strong multitasking skills and the ability to effectively oversee multiple large government opportunities.

This position is responsible for the placement and management of subcontracts in support of various programs within the Mission Solutions Line of Business. Specific duties involve procuring a variety of items from contract labor services to major hardware systems, typically including significant engineering services efforts. As a result, familiarity with this product domain, to also include LMAP and the FAR, is a must. Most importantly, they have fun – so it will be a privilege to lead and support this team – so this position may be a good fit for you IF you like solving problems without a clear step-by-step action plan. You don't get flustered easily; if you don't know the answer, you'll dig until you find it. You like helping people, and you get a kick out of getting people to those 'aha!' moments. You are level headed, cool under pressure, patient, and politely persistent. You pay attention to the details and as far as you're concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right. Every time. It’s not about how much time or effort you need to spend on a task(s), you’re focused on the results. You understand ‘sense of urgency,’ in fact, you can do ‘faster, better, cheaper’ and don’t have to only pick two.

You think on your feet. You like learning new things, and you can learn quickly. When things change, you know how to roll with the punches. You communicate clearly. You write well. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone and you're comfortable communicating in writing , on the phone, or in person in front of an executive audience. You can get difficult messages across in 60 seconds or less.
