As an RF Antenna Engineer, you will perform Antenna pattern measurements in a lab environment. This position requires the independent ability to set up and run an antenna range.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will be required to perform set up and operation of the ground equipment used in the measurement of antenna patterns and performance characteristics.
• You will perform the maintenance of existing test equipment and acquisition of new test equipment over time.
• You will develop standard operating procedures for the use of this equipment.

Typical Experience:
• Typically has 9 or more years of professional experience.
• The ability to understand a test specification and translate that into the test procedures used to run the ground equipment and data acquisition is desired.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power amplifiers, RF probes, and software such as LabVIEW and MATLAB is desired.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Well versed in Electromagnetics and Microwave theory and principles.
• College coursework in antenna design, electromagnetics, or microwave engineering preferred.
• Must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information.

Desired skills
• Expertise in running antenna test ranges and/or anechoic chambers.
• Must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power amplifiers, RF probes
• Software such as LabVIEW and MATLAB.
• Technical writing skills
• Project management skills including the ability to analyze a schedule and coordinate resource usage, good communication abilities and a proactive approach to resolving problems.
• Hold an active/existing security clearance
