We are looking for a Payload CPE on the MSP program. You will be responsible for technical integrity of highly complex RF hardware developed under subcontract. You will ensure the hardware meets all requirements and mission objectives. As a member of the subcontract management team, oversees the design, development, manufacturing and test of the payload hardware, ensuring a balance in execution between technical requirements, program cost and delivery schedule. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining procurement specifications and interface control documents. You work with MSP analysts and system engineering to ensure the payload hardware will meet system level requirements for performance and other TPMs such as size, weight and power. You will coordinate the review and approval of all contract SDRLs and for acceptance of hardware delivered under the contract.

You will also provide periodic status to senior program management and to the customer at monthly reviews and more frequent informal communications. Position requires travel to supplier location.

Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications
**Experience with development of technical specifications for space hardware.

**Demonstrated experience in managing hardware component development from system requirements definition, to preliminary design review, to critical design review, and acceptance testing.

Desired skills
Existing CPE Certification. Experience in working with subcontracted development efforts. Excellent communications skills. Familiarity with the MSP program.
