Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) is a disciplined approach for the definition, implementation, integration and operations of a system (product or service). Emphasis is on the satisfaction of stakeholder functional, physical and operational performance requirements in the intended use environments over its planned life cycle within cost and schedule constraints. SE&I includes the engineering activities and technical management activities related to the above definition considering the interface relationships across all elements of the system, other systems or as a part of a larger system.
SE&I’s goal to provide planning, oversight, coordination, and monitoring services to Programs and Projects to ensure that COMM systems and services are integrated and operated in the most effective way possible while satisfying stakeholder requirements and requests.
SE&I provides high-quality systems integration expertise aligned with Requirements Management, Readiness, Risk Management, Configuration and Data Management, and Scheduling Management required of successful Programs and Projects.
The SE&I Integrator, will work closely with systems and software engineers, peer systems integrators, and project managers to successfully integrate various capabilities/services into an operational system baseline. The SE&I Integrator will assist all phases of an integration lifecycle and enforce readiness standards to ensure system readiness.
The SE&I Integrator will need to be self-starting and have excellent communication and coordination skills.
Participate in special projects as required.
BA/BS Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5+ related experience.
Experience in implementing MSI services-based framework to gain efficiencies, stream-lined processes, automation of SE&I associated activities
