ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Build a loyalty to Z Casinos through frequent communication to players assigned by phone, email or mail.
  2. Meet and greet players who are playing on the casino floor; handling their requests where needed and appropriate.
  3. Provide professional personal customer service to all players. Strong guest service skills that amplify the casino’s "party" atmosphere. The ability to have fun with guests and team members.
  4. Develop and implement business plans for each quarter targeting these high end players who are considered prospects, fading or inactive.
  5. Retain the level of play of very high level players assigned.
  6. Host assigned players at events and parties held for them.
  7. The ability to multi-task in a fast paced casino environment, while maintaining excellence in guest service.
  8. Ability to carry and use a cellular phone on days off.
  9. Act as guest service liaison, handle guest opportunities and resolve situations so as to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  10. Conduct and attend all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings.
  11. Be familiar and promote all current and upcoming special events, promotions and entertainment, as well as all casino activities and the Club Z program.
  12. Strive to exceed the expectations of our high-end players by following up on their visit with emails, letters or thank you notes.
  13. Follow all company and department policies and procedures
  14. Possess thorough knowledge of casino’s player tracking system and use system to monitor player performance.
  15. Maintain active players and reactivate inactive players by building relationships and offering incentives and comps, ensuring level of incentive matches level of play.
  16. Interact with Club Z members and casino team members to outline program details, resolves conflicts, etc.
  17. Help execute special events such as parties, giveaways and hosting group events.
  18. Monitors competitive club activities and marketing programs.
  19. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  20. Follows security policies and procedures. Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  21. Must be able to work flexible hours and schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  22. Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk Properties.
  23. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  1. Demonstrate experience in exemplary customer service in gaming or hospitality, with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  2. Demonstrate ability to resolve conflict and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge and use of player tracking system and basic computer skills.
  4. Demonstrate basic gaming marketing/advertising knowledge with the ability to contribute proposals on effective methods to attract and retain customers.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Demonstrate phone and computer skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel). Preferred knowledge of Oasis, Omni View and Promo Tracker.

    Language Skills:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. These language skills must be executed in English however the ability to speak Spanish as a second language would be a strong plus. Effectively communicate with assigned guests and their needs during on/off time.

    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few particular variables in common situations. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Strong public speaking skills and ability to speak on a microphone.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    Support Colorado gaming license preferred.

Essential duties involve a standard workweek with additional hours sometimes required.
