Colorado Christian University is looking for a Life Directions Center Advisor who has the drive and motivation to provide exceptional service to the CCU community.
The Life Directions Center (LDC) provides a holistic and comprehensive approach to student advising by combining advising, academic support services and career services. The LDC Advisor aids a cohort of students with any issues they may face in college including (but not limited to); adjustments to college, spiritual formation, course and major selections, career exploration and readiness, as well as any specific academic support needs that may arise. Advisors act as mentors supporting students spiritually, academically, personally and professionally.
Skills / Requirements
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, proven written and oral communication skills, and the proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Additionally, the successful candidate will have 2 - 3 years experience working in higher education and will possess a Master‚s degree from an accredited institution in Student Development, Education or related field.
