For more than 100 Years, The Johnson Family has been in the transportation business. Starting as a blacksmith and wagon building enterprise in 1897, our founder, William Johnson, opened service as a moving company in 1900. Johnson Storage and Moving Co., became one of the first of its kind in the western United States. Many other firsts were to follow.

We are an over 100 year old, family-owned company. Now in its fourth generation of ownership great-grandsons, Mark and Jim Johnson, now own the company. Since virtually founding the moving industry at the turn of the century, the Johnson family has been one of the most historic and distinguished names in the business.

These programs are designed to ensure a consistently high level of service to all of our customers. Each eligible driver is qualified through United Van Lines. Every Johnson location is expected to meet or exceed the quality standards of United Van Lines. Johnson even has an in-house educational program to ensure our employees are fully trained and professional.
