We are looking for a FACILITIES TECHNICIAN I to join our team!
JOB DESCRIPTION: Join Facilities Manager and Team to maintain residential facilities, outpatient offices and other building at the MHCBBC. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of general maintenance tasks and projects, which need to be completed in a timely way with high quality results. Examples of maintenance tasks include electrical, plumbing, minor construction projects, repairs, building new cabinetry, developing storage solutions, painting and moving heavy items such as office furniture, etc. Must be able to work as a team member and also independently. Requires On-Call during evenings and weekends on an alternating schedule with other team employees.
Essential Duties:
•Performs electrical tasks to include rerouting wiring, installing new outlets, fixing and replacing lighting, and repairing electrical problems throughout the MHCBBC facilities.
•Performs plumbing tasks to include repairing old or damaged pipes, resolving problems with sinks and toilets, unclogging pipes, etc.
•Performs carpentry projects to include minor construction projects and repairs.
•Performs general maintenance projects throughout the MHCBBC on an as needed basis.
•Responds to facility emergency/non-emergency requests general offices and residential facilities.
•Performs moving of heavy items such as office furniture, appliances, etc.
•Performs general miscellaneous duties such as moving, handling loading and unloading furniture, equipment, construction materials, etc.
•On-call rotation with Facilities Manager and other team members on a monthly basis 24/7.
•Ability to create track and close work orders in the facilities ticket system to insure that proper scheduling and billing is generated for each property or department.

2+ years of prior experience performing general maintenance work to include plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Must have and maintain current CO Driver’s License and a good driving record. Basic computer knowledge of MS Word & Excel. Employment application, background check & DMV check required. Experience in a healthcare provider setting a plus. Responsible, with a demonstrated ability to produce high quality maintenance results in a timely manner. Good verbal communication skills. requires a strong teamwork approach in working with the employees and partner organizations of the MHCBBC. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working with clients of the MHCBBC. Basic tools needed. Must be able to work on call during weekends and nights.
