Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital is a 63-bed hospital providing high acuity care for patients requiring intensive medical, nursing, respiratory and therapy services. We focus on meeting the needs of all our partners in care, including the physician, the patient and the patient's family.
Clinical Liaison performs daily marketing and community education calls including face to face contact, telemarketing and written correspondence. Develops and implements strategic planning for territory management, follow through and continual growth as it relates to LifeCare Hospital services. The Clinical Liaison is actively involved in department activities, transdisciplinary team activities, and LifeCare activities to ensure individualized, patient-centered health care for all patient populations admitted to LifeCare Hospital. Patient Population: Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the patients served. The ages of the patients served are adult (18-65 years of age) and geriatric (65 and older). Essential Functions: 1. Demonstrates proper performance of skills reflected and validated by the Liaison competency checklist, always following LifeCare’s policies and procedures. 2. Manages daily and weekly schedule of marketing activities per requirements. 3. Maintains effective working relationships with referral sources. 4. Seeks out referral source contacts. 5. Sets priorities so evaluations are completed immediately. 6. Maintains up-to-date, accurate territory management material. 7. Demonstrates positive, informative interaction with ancillary departments, co-workers, and LifeCare Hospital physicians. 8. Adheres to LifeCare policies, procedures, all safety plans, and all standards imposed by regulatory organizations. The above listed duties are general statements of required essential functions performed on a regular and continuous basis. They do not exclude other duties as assigned. Supervision: Does not direct or supervise the functions of the department. Skills / Requirements
Experience:
1. Two years clinical experience (i.e. nursing or respiratory) 2. Previous marketing experience preferred Education: Degree in nursing from an accredited school or graduate of an accredited respiratory program Licensure/Certification: Current RN or RT license in state where currently practicing Important Notes
