HSS is currently seeking a Mental Health Worker to join our local team!

Mental Health Counselors needed for PRN (as needed) shifts in Denver area mental health facilities. Part time and full time opportunities are possible.
We work with your schedule!

Duties:
Working with mentally ill or addicted populations in a "hands on" manner. Facilities will include medical hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatments centers, juvenile detention centers, detox centers, etc. Ability to effectively de-escalate and re-direct in a calm and convincing manner. Must also have ability to restrain if needed.

Qualifications:
A BA/BS degree in psychology or related is desired. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of the degree. A minimum of (1) year of paid work (not internship) is required.
A current CPR is required for all positions, first aid and QMAP is required for some. All successful candidates must pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
