SCHOOL BUS SHOP FOREMAN POSITION OPENING

Jefferson County Public Schools has an opening for a Shop Foreman at our Central Terminal 809 Quail St. Lakewood, CO. This position requires computer skills for fleet maintenance software, spreadsheets, and emails. This person supervises 3 technicians and has approximately 100 buses and works with operations regarding defect repair, unit availability, and driver write-ups.

Duties include working with the fleet maintenance software, scheduling and supervising work, inspecting work, diagnosis of defects and problems to include electrical, electronic, engine, transmission, etc. Repair of vehicles with own tools, and coordinate and/or respond to after hours road calls

High School Diploma required (or equivalent), plus specialized technical courses in vocational school, or community college to equal 2 years of college related to trade or skill.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a medium/heavy duty bus/truck technician.
