Job: Massage Therapist On Call Variable Shifts

We are currently seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team.


BASIC FUNCTION:

The Massage Therapist will provide an exceptional spa experience that exceeds the expectations of our guests. Perform massage and body treatments, and provide personal attention to each guest.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform various types of massage and body treatments.

Follow all procedures and guidelines while administering massage therapy. I.e., adhere to draping policy, refer guests with medical problems to their physicians, adhere to time length and treatment protocols when administering treatments, and conduct a pre-screening to determine any client contraindications.

Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 25 lbs.

Must be able to stand/walk up to 4-6 hours per day.

- High school graduate or GED required.
- College degree preferred.
- Industry certifications a plus.
- Valid massage therapy certification.
- CPR/First aid certification highly desirable.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent listening skills required.
- Must be adaptable and flexible.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Be able to make decisions, possess good judgment.
- Must have at least 3 months of experience.
