** ATTENTION INSURANCE AND HR PROFESSSIONALS **
Denver Based agency is in the process of expanding its Benefits Department and needs to fill two positions - an experienced Benefits Account Manager and a Producer - at an Independent Insurance Brokerage Company located in downtown Denver, CO.

We seek only highly motivated individuals who are innovators that can help our Employee Benefits Department grow and take it to the next level. These positions require employee benefits professionals who want to be community leaders in a dynamic and fast paced work environment. The employees will work with other Sisk & Co. associates to build strategic communication and marketing plans to increase our visibility in the Benefits arena. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the client relationships, the benefit renewal process, and the employee enrollment process for new and existing clients. The Producer will be required to increase new business through new lines of coverage and sales of Sisk & Co. services to new and existing clients.

Customer service is key in this industry and with health care reform being a growing concern across the nation we need qualified, experienced professionals who understand the many facets of health insurance and what it takes to provide over the top customer service and to lead our customers through the chaos of political change.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

Producer responsibilities include (include the Account Manager responsibilities):
• Ensure and anticipate accurate and timely servicing of client needs on a diverse book of employee benefits
• Growing revenue in existing programs as well as identifying new growth opportunities
• Develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients
• Utilize appropriate resources for initial and ongoing prospect sales meetings and proposals
• Prepare and conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers on new and renewal business

Account Manager
• Interface with clients, carriers, and associates on a daily basis
• Understand and be able to communicate the trends impacting the insurance industry
• Identify markets and maintain relationships with carriers/underwriters
• Prepare submissions to carriers and proposals to clients
• Implement benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, disability and voluntary plans
• Attend industry related meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts

Skills / Requirements
REQUIRED COMPENTENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Producer
Knowledge of sales and marketing process:
• Has played a leadership role in designing marketing strategies and approaches
• Understands the sales cycle and has recommendations to improve the cycle
• Has played a leadership role in defining qualification practices, policies and processes
• Has driven the development of technology to support the sales process

Account Manager and Producer
Written and verbal communication:
• Has created specific proposals which position a company favorably against competitors
• Has prepared, designed, authored, and delivered formal proposals to large or critical customers
• Effective at conveying complex material through written communications, public speaking, seminars and doing in-person presentations
Proficiency in Employee Benefit Programs:
• Has experience with all employee benefit program designs including self-funding
• Has innovative ideas for the implementation and management of wellness programs to help reduce health claims
• Has participated in the development of HR policies, practices, and/or standards
• Has experience as consultant to business units on all benefit and compensation practices
• Understanding of the interface between: emerging workforce issues and benefit/compensation practices with innovative solutions
Business Knowledge of the Insurance Industry:
• Knowledgeable of “best practices” in the insurance industry
• Has a broad background and understanding of the insurance industry
• Can benchmark the company’s insurance practices to other organizations
• Has formal expertise and experience in placing difficult risks with available markets
Educational and Personal Development:
• Possesses a 4 year college degree
• Has invested in insurance industry continuing education and designation attainment
• Track record of successful outside or community based endeavors which show leadership skills
• Has Human Resources experience and training
