www.donoralliance.org Donor Alliance is a recognized leader in facilitating the donation and recovery of transplantable organs and tissues. Our primary objectives are to save and enhance the lives of others through effective family approach and recovery programs in hospitals, and to increase the awareness of the need for organ and tissue donation throughout Colorado and Wyoming. The Director of Hospital Development is responsible for coordinating all marketing aspects of referral development in order to maximize organ and tissue donation. In addition, the Director is responsible to coordinate, integrate and deliver a common, integrated organ and tissue donation message. Responsible for, and supervises, Hospital Development Supervisor, Donation Consultants and Coroner/Funeral Services Liaison. Provides leadership to set goals, improve and manage performance and achieve established outcomes. Creates, implements, monitors, evaluates, and revises the marketing program/plan for referral development to maximize participation by hospitals, coroners, funeral homes, hospice and pre-hospital emergency service personnel. These plans may include assignment of coordinators to specific accounts. Coordinates the assessment of donor potential, the development of local, regional, and rural customized programs and the evaluation of recovery activity from the service area’s referral sources. Skills / Requirements
Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in human services, nursing, health education, marketing, or related field required. Master degree preferred. • Three to five years experience in healthcare industry required. Previous organ/tissue recovery experience preferred. • Previous marketing experience and an understanding of marketing concepts required. • Demonstrated leadership ability, negotiation skills and supervisory experience required.
