Total Longterm Care is a non-profit PACE program that provides managed health care and supportive services designed to assist seniors who want an alternative to nursing home placement. With Total Longterm Care's assistance, participants can stay in their own homes and communities. The mission of Total Longterm Care is to enable frail individuals to live with dignity in their communities.
We are currently seeking an Executive Director of Shared Services to join our outstanding team! POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Vice President of PACE Operations is responsible for the Total Longterm Care transportation support services including fleet management. dispatch and safety programs, facility management, and materials programs, including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, facility preventative maintenance program and any other duty as deemed necessary. Responsible for hiring, training and supervision of all corporate transportation staff, dispatchers, materials, facilities and scheduling staff. Responsible for the efficient coordination of all shared services for the TLC and TCO organization as indicated for the family of companies. Responsible for meeting departmental budget goals as detailed every year during the budget process. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: 1. Physical Requirements - Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination; the ability to use department equipment; and the ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds using appropriate body mechanics. 2. Visual, Hearing and Communication Requirements – Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate verbally with all participants, participants’ families, staff and vendors. 3. Pressure Factor – Requires working under stressful conditions. Working conditions may be noisy and crowded and fluctuating indoor temperatures. Moderate pressure to meet scheduled appointments while dealing with frail and confused participants. Subject to individuals who may have the potential for verbal or physical aggression. 4. Environmental Conditions – May be exposed to a risk of bodily injury through contact with moving instrumentation, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, bodily fluids, communicable diseases and any other conditions common in a clinic environment. Subject to unpleasant odors. May be exposed to working outside and the elements of changing weather conditions. Skills / Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL AND DRUG SCREEN. College degree required; two years of administrative / supervisory experience, preferably in a transportation, facility, and material management. Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the transportation industry, in addition requires experience in multi-site and multi-departmental leadership to include oversight of transportation, facility, and material management department. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with participants, co-workers, medical staff, and the public including vendors that provide service to the above departments. Proficient in identifying and recommending problem resolution and the ability to implement action plans in a timely manner. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and possess demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in computer software related to this department. Important Notes
