SUMMARY Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity and develops, implements, updates, and maintains human resources information system (HRIS) by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provides human resources department with all HRIS support. 2. Develops, updates, and modifies codes, tables, reports, and other systems applications. 3. Maintains system to ensure continued operations and reporting efficiency. 4. Trains human resources department and organization staff on system access and utilization. 5. Generates routine reports and designs special reports as requested. 6. Researches new technologies related to human resources and keeps management informed. 7. Recommends system design changes and upgrades based on efficiency of current system and user needs. 8. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. 9. Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals. 10. Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment. 11. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. 12. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. 13. Administers performance review, salary administration and bonus administration processes to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. 14. Conduct wage analysis using salary surveys and market/internal data. 15. Participate in wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. 16. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. 17. Assist in recruiting process as required. 18. Manager vendor relations. 19. Other duties as assigned. Skills / Requirements

A.) from four-year college or university and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Excel and be proficient in generating and presenting reports, including the use of pivot tables and multiple documents referencing; knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems.
