Job: Security Shift Supervisor - Full Time

HSS is currently seeking a Full Time Security Shift Supervisor to join our Englewood team!

Summary:
Implement security and safety initiatives, oversee daily security operations; supervise a team of security officers

Responsibilities:

Fulfill the Responsibilities, Qualifications, Competencies, and applicable Addenda of a Security Supervisor and a Security Officer

Provide security post coverage, as necessary

Act in the absence of the Assistant Program Manager or Program Manager when directed

Assist the Assistant Program Manager and Program Manager in administrative tasks as directed

Interpret and act upon applicable policies and procedures based on existing circumstances

Supervise subordinates so they perform their functions effectively

Assign security duties and responsibilities as circumstances warrant

Evaluate and document subordinates' performance

Review and oversee corrections to appropriate subordinate's reports

Maintain liaison with appropriate facility personnel on a given shift

Assist with subordinates training and development

Perform other duties at the direction of, or in the absence of the Program Manger and/or Assistant Program Manager

Qualifications:
Prefer Security experience; prefer experience managing other employees; must have valid Driver's License

Desired Skills:
Able to quickly identify potential security and safety situations and threats, and implement effective countermeasures; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing; have general computer skills; ability to obtain successful subordinate performance
