Job: Chief Financial Officer

Global firm based in Littleton, CO is seeking a strategic-thinking CFO to join this team of high integrity professionals in the building industry. This organization is ready to take on growth and needs the right professional to participate in building the roadmap, facilitate acquisitions, and prepare the organization for success.

Responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Executive Management Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.

Oversees all accounting (project-based) and risk management functions.

Responsible for accounting staff of 7 and IT staff of 3.

Provides financial reporting to the Board of Directors, include forecasting, analysis of contingency plans, and provides recommendations.

Directs, plans and manages the company's Information Systems policies to assure the development and implementation of data processing, computer operations and related functions (communications, office systems, production activities, etc.)

- Candidates must have strong implementation skills that positively motivate others.
- 15+ years in Accounting and Finance.
- A minimum of 7 years experience in CFO or top accounting executive positions.
- An experienced leader and financial executive with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the software field.
- An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
- Must have solid background in qualified ERISA plans and stock option administration.
- A well organized and self-directed individual who is "politically savvy" and a team player.
- An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
- A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor.
- An excellent negotiator who is experienced in contracts.
- A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in systems.
- Masters degree (MBA) preferred, or other related degree.
- Prior CPA experience preferred
