Job: Lab Researcher II - Immunology

National Jewish Health is looking for a Lab Researcher II in Dr. Roberta Pelanda's Immunology Laboratory. Candidates will oversee ordering and stocking for lab reagents/materials, will help managing the mouse colony, and ensure lab safety policies and resolve equipment malfunctions. Candidates will also be involved in the preparation and testing of general lab reagents. Finally, Candidates must also be able to develop experiments through the developmental and execution stages in cooperation with the senior research staff. This includes performing all routine and non-routine tests leading to the successful completion of the developed experiments. Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Good command
of the English language, both written and verbal. Good computer knowledge (Mac, Word, Excel).

Education
Bachelor's of Science degree in biology, chemistry or other basic science required.

Work Experience
A minimum of (1) year of related experience following basic laboratory routines is required. A demonstrated thorough knowledge of: procedures governing a number of the basic operations of the assigned laboratory or research project; basic research methodology; collection, classification and analysis of data; and an ability to adjust to new techniques or changes to research projects.
