TCF Bank is currently seeking a Shift Supervisor to join their outstanding team in Arvada.



PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Coordinate, participate in and supervise branch office operations including the
teller and banking sales department during designated shift. Ensure personnel
promote TCF as full service bank, maintain expected standards of customer
service, product referrals and accuracy of transactions processed in compliance
with TCF guidelines.


MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Interpret and communicate company policy and procedures to ensure consistent
implementation. Resolve procedural questions referred by tellers or banking
sales representatives and make decisions to deviate from policy to provide
equitable service to customers while maintaining a focus on branch
profitability. Keep management informed of any potential problems/questions
during the scheduled shift.

2. Serve as a resource to all branch personnel when dealing with difficult
situations and transactions. Utilize all available sources to resolve problems.

3. Provide work direction to staff and coordinate schedule during shift to
maintain a high level of customer service. Make recommendations to management,
which may enhance efficiency and profitability of operations.

4. May be required to open and/or close branch during weekend business hours;
may open/close drive-thru as applicable.

5. Maintain security measures and vault requirements established by management.
Ensure staff follows identification guidelines, protects customer privacy and
reduces exposure to losses.

6. Maintain all control records and ensure scheduled staff adheres to audit
controls.

7. Promote and support the sale and referral of TCF products and services. Keep
management informed of any potential sales leads acquired during the shift.

8. Provide feedback to management in regard to all activities during the
scheduled shift. Maintain appropriate performance tracking, control records and
reports as designated by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

-Required--
High school degree/GED or equivalent
Completion of Training Tracks

Work Skills:

-Required--
One-year experience as teller or banking sales representative
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide work direction
Demonstrated problem solving skills

-Preferred--
Strong organizational skills
Desire to advance in a retail banking career
