SUMMARY
The Business Process Improvement Facilitator (“BPIF”) is responsible for implementing and managing SBPI initiatives to support Shamrock’s business process strategies with a particular emphasis on logistics and warehouse processes. They will work with Operations leaders to identify key opportunities to develop and implement new and innovative processes to support new and evolving business strategies. He/she will work with the Business Process Leader to implement SBPI strategies that align with business goals, strategic plans, operating plans, and budgets. The BPIF will assume the role as a SBPI Facilitator and change management agent responsible for training and supporting all levels of Operations Associates with the implementation of Process Redesign, Lean, Six Sigma, and Change Management methodologies throughout the organization. JOB DUTIES He/She will have the added responsibility of coaching and mentoring other SBPI team members. Drive SBPI transformation strategies to support company’s Big Rock Initiatives, Divisional Initiatives and KPM’s. Train managers and Process Owners in the use of Performance Mapping and Improvement tracking systems/processes. Develop and measure ROI models for improvement efforts Facilitate internal & external benchmarking and best practices research to establish capability expectations Knowledge Sharing/Replication Help process owners develop the metrics needed to accurately predict the performance of their processes with a primary focus on sales. Facilitate the data gathering & analysis of the data needed to charter and complete a process improvement project. Work collaboratively with Operations managers to commit associates time to actively work and complete projects Work with multiple project teams to help bring their projects to a successful conclusion. Measured by the number and impact of completed projects. Liaison between the project champions and the project teams. Update benefits monthly. Help process owners and line associates get their process improvement ideas into the project pipeline. Increase the awareness of BPI tools and techniques in individual departments. Facilitate Lean and Process Redesign workshops. Prepare the teams prior to the workshop, coach the teams during the workshop, and present some of the materials in the workshop. Arrange the logistical support for the workshops. Post information monthly on the divisional “Green Boards” pertaining to SBPI. Must be willing to work flexible schedule including night shifts EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in related field Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Certification and/ or successful completion of Dr. Michael Hammer’s Process Mastery (Redesign) program preferred. 2+ years of management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and or training skills Preferred operations background in transportation and warehouse 2+ years’ experience in leading process improvement, process analysis, process design/redesign projects, or other process improvement experience Exceptional project management skills Customer focused attitude … recognition of all customer groups (internal & external). Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and planning ability Computer literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab, BI Excellent facilitation and communication skills in order to effectively communicate at all levels, internally and externally; a person who is persuasive with compelling oral and written communication skills Ability to build open, trustworthy relationship with leaders of the business Intellectually competitive, good quantitative, analytical and problem solving abilities; a broad business perspective with sound business judgment and financial acumen; ability to perform process, team and business assessments Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask Ability to lead a strong, diverse, multi-functional SBPI team Hours of Work Day shift hours may vary Skills / Requirements
Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in related field
