If you are a seasoned HR Generalist or Manager with a desire to work directly with multiple companies in a variety of industries, this position would be ideal for you.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Ability to perform very broad, challenging, professional and advanced human resources tasks to support our clients. Responsibility and proven success in the following areas is essential:

  • New employee orientation, Recruiting , Training
  • Administration of job descriptions, performance review development, compensation program development, and benefits
  • Employee relations
  • Management support to include providing advice and counsel
  • Strategic thinking and planning
  • Experience administering EEO-1 reporting, VETS100 reports, AAP development, COBRA benefits, background checking processing
  • Certified internal investigator
  • Interpretation of company policy
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers? Compensation/Return to Work, Leaves of Absence, FLSA compliance
  • Unemployment Insurance claim handling and appeal hearings.
  • Conducting HR audits, following multi-state employment laws and ensuring compliance within state and federal regulation.

    Although this position does not have supervisory oversight, there may be instances
    where assisting less experienced HR staff with various issues will be necessary and required.

    Some local (Colorado) travel required, primarily within Denver and the Front Range corridor. Overnight stays may be required once a month.

    Skills / Requirements

    PHR/SPHR preferred. Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field required. 7-10 years progressive HR experience required, having worked as an HR Manager for at least one small company. A great sense of humor is non-negotiable. Ability to work and effectively deal with multiple types of personalities is a must.
