Casino Overview: The Ameristar Casino Resort Spa located in Black Hawk, Colorado is the premiere gaming, entertainment and resort destination of Colorado. Located 40 miles west of the mile high city of Denver in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Ameristar features an exciting casino, a variety of fine dining restaurants and a four diamond rated hotel. Our 55,000 square foot gaming floor is home to around 1,500 of the newest slot products and the hottest games in the market. Our spacious 24 table pit includes the games of craps, blackjack and roulette. Ameristar also has the largest poker room in the state of Colorado.

Skills / Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

*General maintenance experience required.
*Light plumbing and electrical experience a plus.
*Light carpentry skills a plus
*Basic knowledge of blueprint reading a plus.
*Knowledge of lighting and illumination a plus.
*Must be able to be mobile throughout the casino and handle a wide variety of noise, illumination, temperature and environments.
*High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
*Must be of legal age to be on the gaming floor.
*Must have a strong ability to interact with internal and external guests.
*Must have a mechanical aptitude
*Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays
*Must be able to work nights and weekends.
*Must possess a valid driver-s license.
