-Possess an understanding of disabilities.
-Respond to client's needs in a creative manner.
-Enhance the quality of life with people with disabilities.
-Communicate effectively both in conversation and writing.
-Possess strong team building and problem solving skills.
-Provide transportation to and from community outings, occasional paid and/or volunteer work, attending classes and/or events.
-Provide resources and opportunities to individuals to improve their health and well being.
-Assist in developing and implementing recreation and activity based support programs.
-Provide documentation as necessary, including recording progress on training programs, in a timely manner.
-Perform other related duties as necessary.

Skills / Requirements

Must have high school diploma/GED
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to access the community and/or have access to a licensed and insured vehicle
Must pass background, reference and motor vehicle checks
Must be flexible during working hours
