Our great dance heritage began in 1947 when one of the greatest dancers of all time, Mr. Fred Astaire, cofounded our company. He developed a practical, interrelated dance curriculum that embodied the fundamental principles of good dancing, flavored by his style and grace. Now, over 120 studios spread throughout the United States are teaching the "Fred Astaire way." Our studios offer all kinds of dance instruction - from ballroom to country western to salsa to nightclub dancing - for all ages and abilities through private, group, and practice lessons.  

Our two Colorado studios offer the possibility of unlimited opportunities. From our rewarding Instructors positions to becoming a professional competition dancer to a supervisor or manager all of these opportunities are available. Some of the top competitors in the world began as a Fred Astaire Instructors (including Dancing with the Stars and current United States undefeated Rhythm Champion Tony Dovolani) and currently, 85 of our studio owners began as teachers. The right person with the necessary skills and abilities can open a franchise within 3-4 years of starting with the company. With our training in the "Conceptual Method Of Teaching" program, our teachers have all the skills required to open a studio or become a champion dancer.
