Coordinate activities of dining room personnel engaged in providing courteous and prompt service to guests. Itemize totals and present guests with the price for their payment. receive cash or credit card from guests in payment for goods or services. Computes bill on P.O.S. system or adding machine, make change and issue receipts. Responsible for accurate control of cash drawer. Seat guests in restaurant as per specified rotation requirements and maintain seating/reservation documentation. Help fill guests' food and beverage orders. Help service guests as necessary in a team aspect. Keep all guest areas clean and neat. May be required to know value of menu items. May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager. Knows and promotes current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.

Skills / Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must possess basic math skills. Able to count cash drawer accurately. Previous experience as a cashier. 1 year experience in a comparable position preferred. Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to abide by the company appearance standards and compliance with the designated uniform.
