Blog Post: Top 10 things not to say to a recruiter

posted Friday, June 8, 2007 12:40 PM

Hi  Again,

I thought it me be helpful to know things "not to say" when calling recruiters. Certainly from my standpoint, it would be helpful.

1) Hi,  What jobs do you have ?

2) I'm just looking for anything.

3) Leave a number and say--Call me back

4) I don't know what I want to do.

5) Are you a hospital ?

6) Can you just call me when you have something that I might like ?

7) I'm finishing school in 2009. What openings do you have ?

8) Do I really have to meet those job requirements ?

9) Can you just hold my application and give it to any manager ?

10)Can  I call you back ? My favorite show just came on.
