Top technology companies from throughout Colorado will be recognized at award ceremony June 5, 2007.
CSIA today announced 115 nominations from 94 companies nominated for the 7th annual CSIA Apex Awards, one of the largest annual technology award events in the nation. Twelve outstanding teachers were nominated for the first-ever Colorado's Top Tech Educator award.
"The nominated companies represent the leaders of Colorado's IT market," said Jackie Walden, chair of the CSIA 2007 Apex Awards. "It's important to recognize the achievements made in our state, as well as the people behind the successes. These nominees - as well as the guests - represent the innovation and business success of technology in Colorado," she said.
"The Colorado technology industry is very strong, and we are seeing continual proof points that our companies here in Colorado are becoming more and more globally successful," said Su Hawk, president of CSIA. "The number of and caliber of nominations is the largest in CSIA's history, and we are again amazed at the sophistication of the entries," she said.
CSIA is proud to announce the first-ever nominees for the inaugural Colorado's Top Tech Educator. These teachers raise the bar for math, science and technology education in Colorado and CSIA is proud to recognise their exemplary work.
