Reporting to the Admissions Manager, the Admissions Counselor is a full-time position located in Denver, Colorado. This position is responsible for recruiting and enrolling online students for undergraduate degree programs. Daily tasks include making outbound phone calls to prospective students who have expressed interest in Ashford University‚s degree programs. The Admissions Counselor must possess a sincere passion for changing lives and an eagerness to help others achieve lifelong goals.
* Counsel prospective students on the admissions process and opportunities available at Ashford University.
* Schedule and conduct phone interviews.
* Accurately convey course and program information, including advising students with respect to admissions requirements, processes and degree options
* Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in every interaction with students and fellow employees.
* Holding the highest level of accountability with your students and team members.
* Consistently following up with students to ensure their success, both before and
throughout their first course.

* BA/ BS degree strongly preferred; minimum of 30 college units in undergraduate studies from a regionally accredited institution is required. All candidates must provide proof of higher education (transcripts) upon request.
