Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience considered. Minimum of two years as an Associate Application Systems Analyst/Programmer. Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred. Organized, self-starter. Must be able to work independently.
Skills / Requirements
Clinical experience preferred. Prior physician clinical application experience (including CPOE and PDOC) preferred. Centura employee preferred. Strong MS application skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must have strong analytic ability. Must work well independently or in team setting. The implementation of CPOE and PDOC drives the need for greater physician support. This physician analyst will work with statewide group of physicians working on physician initiatives, supporting order set development and maintenance, creating and modifying PDOC templates and generally supporting any physician-related issues. For the Meditech system, they will ensure standardization of system, implementation of changes/enhancements/streamlining, working with vendor on system upgrades, coordinating training and communication on the physician modules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This person will also be involved with any cross-modular or global issues involving physicians.
