Position Summary To assist to the Director of Hotel Sales with written and verbal communication; ensuring they are kept up to date on daily hotel sales issues. Duties and Responsibilities •Coordinate and ensure timely response to correspondence, reports and special project assignments. •Serve as a liaison for Hospitality; coordinate needs with other managers and directors. Ensure that Director of Hotel Sales is kept fully informed. •Assist in the hotel tracking status of projects. •Monitor critical dates and keep hotel division team apprised of upcoming deadlines. •Detailed follow-up to ensure a smooth transition from arrival to departure of guests. •Track group sales and maintain accurate records of all group sales programs and sales efforts. •Handle meeting setup and catering requirements for groups with guest and meeting space. •Provide the billing information for sales and banquets to Finance and Front Office. •Enter all booking, rooming lists and reservation changes in LMS. •Coordinate weekly forecast and future banquet event order reporting and distribution. •Maintain phone log and complete detail phone messages. Required Knowledge and Skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication. •Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. •Excellent organizational skills. Required Natural Behaviors •Human relations skills are essential. Required Education and Work Experience •High School Diploma required; some college preferred. •2 years of Hotel sales support. We Value Diversity!
